DocuSearch
From classic keyword-based search, to a SaaS AI platform that turns any company's documentation and content into a precise conversational assistant with verifiable sources.
The Challenge
Traditional search on websites and within document repositories operates on a simple logic: exact keyword matching. If the user doesn't use the exact term found in the database, the connection is lost. The result: either zero results, or dozens of PDF documents that someone has to manually sift through. In documentation-heavy industries — manufacturing, healthcare, insurance, legal services, HR — this problem translates into hours lost, errors and frustration. We identified a clear market need: a solution that no longer asks users to search, but instead gives them answers — instantly, from verifiable sources, without AI hallucinations.

The Solution
We built DocuSearch, a SaaS AI platform with multi-tenant architecture, based on semantic intelligence. Unlike traditional search, DocuSearch doesn't look for character matches — it understands the intent behind the question. The platform ingests content from multiple sources — internal documents, CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, TYPO3), product catalogs, technical manuals, complex PDFs — and transforms it into semantically indexed knowledge chunks. When a user asks a question in natural language, the system identifies the relevant passages and constructs the answer exclusively from the client's data, with source attribution at document or web page level.
Integration is done through a JavaScript widget generated from the SaaS platform, with a dedicated API key — the only dependency needed on the client's website or application. The widget is customizable to each client's visual theme.
Key Functionalities
- Semantic intelligence instead of exact keyword matching: the system understands the intent and context of the question, not just the characters.
- Grounded Reasoning (zero hallucinations): answers are generated exclusively from the client's documentation. If the information doesn't exist in the knowledge base, the AI won't make it up.
- Source attribution for every answer: users can directly access the document or web page from which the answer was extracted — essential for industries with audit requirements (legal, healthcare, engineering).
- Three specialized modules: SiteSearch AI (for web content and CMS), DocuSearch Core (for documentation-heavy organizations — HR, technical manuals, SOPs), ProductSearch AI (for e-commerce and technical product specifications).
- CMS-native connectors: direct synchronization with WordPress, Drupal, Shopify and other platforms, without manual upload — the knowledge base updates automatically as content evolves.
- Multi-tenant architecture: separate workspaces, distinct knowledge bases and domain-specific restrictions — designed for agencies and enterprise companies with multiple clients.
- JavaScript widget easy to integrate, customizable to the client's visual theme, with a single dependency (script + API key).
- Privacy by Design: processing in regional EU/US data centers, GDPR compliance, no training of models on clients' proprietary content.
- Security guardrails: domain allowlisting, configurable system prompts, full control over how and where the AI interacts with the public.
The Result
DocuSearch is transforming how organizations interact with their own documentation and content. The platform is already used in real scenarios: manufacturing technicians querying complex maintenance manuals hands-free, HR teams automating answers to repetitive policy questions, medical staff accessing clinical protocols instantly with the assurance of a verifiable, sourced answer. The multi-tenant SaaS architecture enables rapid scaling to new clients, while the JavaScript widget integration model minimizes adoption friction.

Our Vision
DocuSearch is a proprietary Reea product, born from over two decades of software development experience and from the direct observation of a universal problem: companies invest heavily in producing content and documentation, but access to the information within these resources remains inefficient. We built DocuSearch to bridge this gap — turning each organization's existing content from a static archive into an intelligent conversational assistant. The platform is designed to evolve continuously, with new modules and additional connectors, as the market adopts conversational interaction as the standard.
