Delgaz
From the complexity of operating a major utility provider, to a multi-tenant platform based on microservices, integrated with enterprise-class ERP systems.
The Challenge
Delgaz needed a digital platform capable of supporting the operations of a utility provider, with all the implications this domain entails: large volumes of data, multiple internal clients (business units, subsidiaries, departments), integration with enterprise-class ERP systems — including SAP — and high requirements regarding availability and security. The main challenge: an architecture that would allow independent development and granular scaling of components, without the entire platform being affected by targeted changes.

The Solution
We built a multi-tenant platform based on a microservices architecture, in which each functional component is isolated and can be developed, scaled and updated independently. The back-end is developed in .NET Core, on top of a Microsoft SQL database, while the front-end uses Kentico CMS - an enterprise solution that offers flexibility in managing content and user experience. Integration with ERP systems, including SAP, ensures the continuous flow of data between the platform and the company's operational infrastructure.
Key Functionalities
- Multi-tenant architecture for serving multiple entities and business flows within the same platform.
- .NET Core microservices for functionality isolation, independent scaling and more efficient maintenance.
- Integration with enterprise ERP systems, including SAP, for synchronization of operational and business data.
- Kentico CMS front-end for flexible management of content and end-user experience.
- Microsoft SQL database optimized for the large data volumes specific to the utilities industry.
- Secure inter-service communication, in line with enterprise requirements regarding data confidentiality and integrity.
The Result
The platform developed for Delgaz provides a solid, modular and scalable technological foundation for the company's digital operations. The microservices-based architecture allows independent evolution of components, while the integration with SAP and other ERP systems ensures data coherence between the platform and the operational infrastructure. The solution meets the performance, availability and security requirements specific to a major utility provider.

Our Collaboration
The partnership started from the need to modernize the digital infrastructure of a utilities operator, with complex technical and business requirements. Through our expertise in microservices architectures, .NET Core development, Kentico CMS and ERP integrations, we delivered a platform built to last and to quickly adapt to industry changes.
